Inga

Inga is 7 years old. She has suffered from spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) for several years now. Her parents found out about the disease when Inga was almost two years old.

Nikola is a beautiful and talented young woman who, despite having spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), is pursuing her dreams and passions. Her greatest passions are horses and make-up.

Zosia

Zosia is a brave, smart and talkative 3-year-old girl who suffers from spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). The disease was diagnosed when Zosia was 6 weeks old.

Gabrysia i Patrycja

Gabrysia and Patrycja are energetic twins who are nine years old and suffer from spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). Their disease was diagnosed when the girls were 2.5 years old.

Erwin

Erwin is 30 years old and enjoys listening to music and travelling around Poland, although he can only do this when lying down. When he was 7 months old he was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy.

Marta

Marta is a psychotherapist, married woman and mother of two daughters. She has suffered from spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) type 2 since birth.

Leon

Leon's SMA was diagnosed pre-symptomatically, just two weeks after birth, thanks to a screening test. The rapid implementation of treatment allows him to develop in the same way as healthy children.

Agnieszka suffers from SMA and her dream is to change the system of care for people with disabilities. Her systematic rehabilitation and the pharmacotherapy she has been taking for the past 3 years are helping her to realise this plan.
